Spearheaded by musical virtuoso Mark Oliver Everett, cult favourite The Eels has crafted six studio albums over its long career. Coinciding with the release of a new ‘retrospective’ collection Meet The Eels 1996-2006, the band is bringing its extensive back catalogue to Australian stages in April.
Included in that ten years of dark and evocative songwriting are songs like Your Lucky Day In Hell, Mr E’s Beautiful Blues and Novocaine For The Soul. Over the years, the Eels have won over Aussie audiences with their brooding live performances, and this visit is sure to be just as profound.
