After touring the country earlier this year to launch his debut EP, indie whiz kid The E.L.F. is loading his backpack once again, this time to support fellow electro maestro Muscles nationally throughout March and April.
A one man band for the 21st century, The E.L.F. is the brand new musical adventure from Darren Cross (Gerling). Armed with a sampler and a laptop, The E.L.F. combines abstract dance music with a cheeky indie aesthetic.
Out now on The E.L.F.’s own label Oaks Records (distributed through MGM), Darren’s debut EP Stevie Nicks Hearts was recorded and produced by Darren himself at his home studio in Sydney.
Staying true to his DIY ethic, Darren self-produced the video for his 80s inspired single – œCockroaches’. Made on a $12 budget, the video has already received over 235,000 views on YouTube.
After tearing up stages on his EP launch tour earlier this year, and supporting both Dardanelles and Faker on two separate national tours late last year, The E.L.F. is so hot right now. Don’t miss him on tour with Muscles!
