Push Over is almost here
Tue 4th Mar, 2008 in Local News
Boasting a lineup that has “more rock than a mineshaft”, Push Over 2008 is on the horizon. The mere fact that the festival takes place at the Abbotsford Convent should have you excited. Seriously, when can you say you’ve ever rocked out inside a convent before?
It all goes down on Monday March 10th, at the tail end of the Labour Day long weekend, and there’s over 30 big name acts on board for this year’s event, spread across four stages. As well as the madness on stage, there’s also the much loved Push Over artist signing area, market stalls, amusements, and the finest festival food you’ve had this summer.
The venue will be easily reachable by public transport, with Abbotsford Convent closest to Victoria Park, just 5 stops from Flinders Street Station on the Epping and Hurstbridge lines. There’ll be a free shuttle service from Victoria Park station every 15 minutes.
The lineup includes:
British India
Capeside
Carpathian
CC Martini
Closure in Moscow
Cog
Custom Kings
Dead Letter Circus
Famous by Association
50 Lions
The Galvatrons
The Getaway Plan
Gyroscope

+ many more!
