Alternative folk artist, Krista Polvere will be the support act for Ron Sexsmith on his upcoming March tour.

In 2007, Krista left Australia for New York to immerse herself in the city and the place she felt musically at home. One of the first people Krista’s music caught the attention of was Lost Highway / Universal artist, Ryan Adams. Adams has since collaborated on songs on Krista’s debut album, Here Be Dragons which is scheduled for release in Australia in May.

Krista can also count acoustic artist, Ray LaMontagne as one of her fans, so much so he has personally asked Krista to support him on his US tour in June.

Here Be Dragons was recorded in New York and was produced by Grammy Award winning producer/engineer/mixer, Malcolm Burn ( Emmylou Harris, Chris Whitley, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan ).

Krista was home last August, opening for Ryan Adams and the Cardinals on their Australian tour. Catch Krista supporting Ron Sexsmith on the following dates.
