That’s right folks – the final result for the Melbourne heat of the annual Virgin Mobile Garage2V competition, in conjunction with FasterLouder, is now in.
All four Victorian finalists – Little Red, Aleks and The Ramps, Armen Firman and Tic Toc Tokyo – battled it out at The Toff In Town last night to a rapturous home crowd. The night proved to be a fierce and fantastic showcase of musicianship, stage presence and energy!
After much deliberation, the judges chose Little Red to carry on the hopes of Melbourne’s unsigned community for the G2V Grand Final in Sydney on March 13 at Oxford Arts Factory alongside special guests My Disco.
Little Red are now one step closer to winning the valuable prize of playing to over 100,000 punters at this year’s V Festival alongside the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins and Duran Duran across all four states.
More state winners are yet to battle it out so be sure to support your local unsigned bands!
