Andrew Morris circles theWagons
Wed 27th Feb, 2008 in Local News
It’s been a relatively quiet start to the year for Brisbane troubadour Andrew Morris. He’s been off writing songs for his new album, and if it seems like only yesterday that previous effort Union Bars came out, that’s because Morris is committed to a one-album-per-year schedule, with 2008’s effort being the fourth in as many years.
Morris is now joining forces with Wagons, Chris Pickering and Chad Mason for his first tour of the year. The Whisky, Deadwood and Gold tour will hit Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane over the coming weekend. Melbourne and Sydney will see Morris playing solo, while his backing band Youngbuck will be in attendance for the Brisbane finale.
Catch the Whiskey, Deadwood and Gold tour this weekend:
Feb 28 – Toff in Town, Melbourne.
Feb 29 – The Hopetoun, Sydney.
Mar 1 – The Troubadour, Brisbane.
