US metalcore idols, The Devil Wears Prada will rip through our country for the first time this May, bringing with them the intense and passionate live show that has been winning the hearts of metal fans around the world.

Placed alongside the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, Norma Jean and Bullet For My Valentine, The Devil Wears Prada exploded onto the hardcore/metal scene in 2005 after the launch of their debut self-released EP Patterns Of A Horizon. It’s full-length follow up, Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord further astonished fans, showing what the band can do with a full studio behind them.

The band’s latest album Plagues was released in Australian in August 2007 through Rise Records / Shock furthers the band’s metal driven, synth-laden dual vocal attack with unexpected twists and turns, larger melodies and a more focused aggression, but is certainly no less savage. Lead single, – œHey John, What’s Your Name Again?” created a huge stir becoming a smash on MTV’s – œHeadbangers Ball’.

At an average age of just 19 The Devil Wears Prada has reached amazing heights, recently confirmed as a headline act on the renowned Vans Warped Tour for 2008. Their first Australian tour includes over 18s and all ages shows.
