Psycroptic to enter studio inMarch

Australian technical death metallers Psycroptic have issued the following update:

“All the material has been finished for the as-yet-untitled new Psycroptic album. Nine songs will feature on the album the recording process will start in March. It’s hoped that all will be finished by May with a late 2008 release for the album. More details regarding the album and touring will be announced soon!”

Psycroptic’s third full-length album, Symbols of Failure, was released in February 2006 via Neurotic Records. The follow-up of 2003’s The Sceptre of the Ancients marks the recording debut of the band’s new vocalist Jason Peppiatt.
