She was just a teenage girl from Albury when she was plucked from obscurity to appear as one of the finalists in Australian Idol. But Lisa Mitchell never seemed to fit the mantle of Pop diva that was being thrust upon her. So little wonder the singer songwriter soon found herself ousted from the show. Whilst many of her Idol stablemates went on to sign with Sony BMG, Mitchell signed on the dotted line wiith indie label Scorpio Music and set about laying tracks for her debut EP, Said One to the Other, which debuted at number one on the Australian iTunes chart.

Since then Mitchell has been shuffling round the country playing sidekick to a number of talented artists including Ben Lee, Tex Perkins and Old Man River. Now she’s set her sights on a tour of her own and will be performing in acoustic mode as a trio with Leroy Lee and Ashleigh Mannix to punters around the country in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA.
