One of our fave Perth bands, Sugar Army, have snaffled up the much contested Interpol support slot. Kudos to the fellas, who seem to be having quite a fantastic 2008 thus far – with four WAMI noms to their name and a recent signing to new indie label Good Cop Bad Cop. The band will be serving up a shiny new EP later this year…

Though when they will find time to record, what with the support dates with Little Birdy and Interpol high on the agenda, is anyone’s guess…

So the next big thing to come out of WA is set to hit a venue near you very soon… check ‘em out at one of the following gigs – go on – join the Sugar Army…
