80s punk pop heavyweights Voodoo Lust will play an exclusive one-off reunion show at the Empire this February. Since disbanding in 1990 the band’s members have tackled various side-projects including a short stint in London as The Upsets...
Voodoo Lust formed in Brisbane during late 1985. Taking only a few months to release their first single Shake, Shake Hey Yeh! the outfit soon topped the indie charts and made the move to Sydney to capture a bigger audience. Two mini albums, thousands of kms on the road and several hit singles later the band played support for many of the biggest acts on the scene at the time including Iggy Pop, Hoodoo Gurus and the Divinyls.
Now you can see the magic once more when Voodoo Lust take over the Empire with special guests: Jack Nasty Face, Daredevil
