Kill Teen Angst will launch one of the most anticipated local releases of 2008 at Amplifier next month as part of this summer’s WAMi Festival.
The four-piece, who took out the title for Best Rock Song at the recent WAM Song of the Year awards night, release Kill Teen Angst with Sugar Army, Batrider, The Leap Year and Hooper’s Store on February 16.
It’s been a rapid rise for the band formerly known as Ten Speed Racer, who have come a country mile since the change of name and lineup in 2006. In the past 12 months they’ve shared the stage with an impressive array of talent including British India, Shooting at Unarmed Men and Jebediah – but one gets the feeling they’ll be headlining the same stages in the near future.
