Not satisfied with breaking the record for the most consecutive shows at Sydney’s Metro, The Cat Empire are at it again with a new national tour announced. This time they will take Beautiful Girls, Blue King Brown and Ash Grunwald along for the ride.

According to Cat Empire’s Felix, the tour line-up is the kind of fit they’d long dreamed of for a national outing… “It’s like being able to take all your great musical mates on tour with you, to all the places you dreamed you might one day be able to play”.

When the show hits the road, over 70 cast and crew will be touring the country, with more than 30 musicians on stage, playing twelve venues, showcasing four of Australia’s finest live acts. The Cat Empire will be bringing along a string quartet (made up of members from The Australian Youth Orchestra), a troupe of dancers and The Empire Horns.

The tour is marked to coincide with The Cat Empire’s new single, Fishes taken from their album So Many Nights.
