Chicago outfit Cool Kids will be making some noise at this year’s Laneway Festival; the good news for fans however is that the duo will be bringing their golden age hip hop sounds to a series of sideshows.

Sometimes described as the bastard child of Run DMC and N.E.R.D., Cool Kids first hooked up after meeting on Myspace. The duo, made up of MCs Mikey and Chuck soon earned a cult following for their spaced out beats and Chicago style raps.

The pair are set to release their new Ep, The Bake Sale and these upcoming Australian tour dates will provide the perfect opportunity to test the new tracks out on fans.
