The E.L.F hits the road

To celebrate the upcoming release of his debut solo EP Stevie Nicks Hearts, indie wizz The E.L.F is packing his bags and hitting the road on a national headline tour this February.

A one man band for the 21st century, The E.L.F is the brand new musical adventure from Darren Cross ( Gerling ). Armed with a sampler and a laptop, The E.L.F combines abstract dance music with a cheeky indie aesthetic.

In other news, The E.L.F’s debut solo EP will be out on February 16 through his own label Oaks Records (distributed thru MGM). Stevie Nicks Hearts was recorded and produced by Darren himself at his home studio in Sydney.

Staying true to his D.I.Y. ethic, Darren self-produced the video for his 80s inspired single – œCockroaches’. Made on a $12 budget, the video has already received over 235,000 views on YouTube. And after teaming up with Melbourne rockers Dardanelles and Sydney group Faker on two separate national tours late last year, The E.L.F is ready to take the stage on his own.
