Soundwave 08 is already shaping up to be a cracker of a Festival this Feebruary – and now the event’s promoters have announced further reasons to clap your hands in joy – sideshows, my friends, sideshows!

All sidshow tix will go on sale Jan 11.

So what acts have signed on for the extra gigs?

i have similar curiosity. you may like to check out the Live at Red Rock DVD, it's pretty darn good, not sure what year it is though and how they've changed since. i hope they haven't mellowed too much, would expect their harder edged stuff to be played at a festival like soudwave

i think i'll settle for them at soundwave cos their sideshow clashes with killswitch engage/shadows fall (thanx for that info shanti_lttl!)

Ok I have come to the Conclusion only Mike and Aaron will be performing. I feel sorry for anyone going to the gig just to see Mewithoutyou. I don't understand how they can put Mewithoutyou on the sideshow poster when they aren't going to be performing. What is so hard about just having on the poster the Weiss Brothers from Mewithoutyou?

they are selling both under 18's and over 18's tickets. i just want to get on the floor.

Even if it was the case that the floor was under 18's. 18+ are still entitled to be front of stage, it's the under 18's that are restricted from the licenced area. 18+ have the run of the place.

Got my Thursday sideshow ticket.

I think you can take cameras in the forum. Not sure if I want to risk taking in my 40d and L glass in the moshpit though. Hopefully there's a barrier and hopefully I'll get a pass.
