End of Fashion will hit Langley Park on Australia Day as they head the list of bands set to play in the leadup to this year’s Lotterywest Skyworks.

The four-piece, who are currently planning the follow-up to their 2005 self-titled debut, ushered in 2008 under the fireworks at Gloucester Park with Dallas Crane and The Vasco Era – and they’ll do it all over again on Saturday January 26.

Joining them for the free show are Red Jezebel, whose How I Learnt to Stop Worrying LP has impressed across the board, with Kicking Deadly Sins and More Than You’ll Ever Know both up for election in Triple J’s Hottest 100 – which will be unveiled on the same day. Also appearing are The Silents, fresh from slots at Southbound and supporting Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, while newcomers The Milkmen round things off.

The Milkmen will start at 4pm, while The Silents (5pm), Red Jez (6pm) and End of Fashion (7.15pm) all play before the pyrotechnic action kicks off at 9.

There’s plenty more on offer as well, with bouncy castle, bungee run and beach volleyball action happening, as well as kite, chopper and hot rod displays plus an air show going on overhead.
