Having debuted at the Annandale Hotel in late 2006, the ‘mind-expanding music and arts festival’ Was I There In Your Future? makes its triumphant return in 2008, with dates in Sydney and Melbourne.
The festival plumbs the depths of psych, pop, garage, drone rock, kraut and more with an eclectic line-up of talent. Both Sydney and Melbourne share headliners Belles Will Ring, The Lovetones, Cloud Control, The John Steel Singers and The Black Ryder.
In Sydney, the bill is further filled by Gaslight Radio, Richard In Your Mind, The Laurels, Mercy May and Starstream.
Melbournites will be treated to Even, Sand Pebbles, Treetops, Smallgoods, Lady Strangelove, PBR Space Program and The Night Terrors.
Tickets for Sydney are on sale now, while the lucky Victorians get it all for free.
The dual-cities event goes down on the following dates:
Saturday 12 January – Annandale Hotel, Sydney
Saturday 19 January – The Espy, St Kilda, Melb
