Melbourne noise band Witch Hats arrive in WA this weekend in support of new single Before I Weight and fortcming LP release Cellulite Soul.

The four-piece impressed on debut EP Wound of a Little Horse, which captured noisy clash of post-punk guitars, noisy, busy arrangements and abrasive vocals of their live shows.

Cellulite Soul promises more of the same and, produced by Phill Calvert (The Birthday Party, Psychedelic Furs), it’s scheduled for release early in 2008 through In-Fidelity Recordings.

The tour this weekend takes in shows at Mojo’s (Friday) and the Bakery (Saturday). Support at both shows will come from fellow Melbournians Bachelor of Arts.
