Tis the season for merriment as Brillig spreads some holiday cheer at their Christmas show at the Grace Emily Hotel!

Special guests this year include labelmates Dandelion Wine (Melb), who Brillig is hoping will give them some inside tips on touring Europe. Having made the well-received trip in early ‘07, Dandelion Wine are already planning their next overseas jaunt for ‘08. Their sound is an inimitable blend of flute, dulcimer, guitar & synched beats, so catch them while you can!

Also joining the festivities is Brillig’s touring buddy and SA ex-pat Tim Hudspith (Goldentone). Brillig enjoyed sharing the stage with him on a series of VIC trips this year, with his smooth voice & sweet, sweet Rickenbacker. The XMas show is a rare homecoming for Tim, so old pals should come down & buy him a pint!

Brillig is taking a short break from the live SA scene in early ‘08 to focus on songwriting (adding more murder ballads & dark folk tales to their acoustic set), and heading into the studio for a new EP. It’s been an incredible year of gigs (close to 50!), so celebrate one of the final appearances for ‘07 on Saturday December 15 at the Grace Emily Hotel.
