Paper Scissors add Amplifiergig
Tue 11th Dec, 2007 in Local News
Sydney band The Paper Scissors are in town next month to play at Southbound but while they’re here, they’ll take the time to put on a headline gig at Amplifier.
The trio, who have been compared to The Rapture and Modest Mouse, have supported acts including Datarock, Shout Out Louds and The Bees and will play tracks from debut album Less Talk More Paper at the gig on January 4.
As previously reported here at FasterLouder, the guys will head down to Busselton for Southbound the next day, adding their names to a monster bill that also includes Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Groove Armada. Southbound is sold out, so unless you have a ticket the Amplifier gig will be your only chance to catch The Paper Scissors this time around.
Tickets for the Amplifier show are on sale this Thursday (December 13) from BOCS, Moshtix, Jumbo, Galaxy, Mills, Planet and Rockeby Records.
