Ireland’s expat Mexican acoustic guitar duo, Rodrigo y Gabriela will be returning to Australia this March to play at East Coast Blues and Roots Festival; the good news for music fans is that the twosome will be playing a few sideshows along the way…

Since arriving on the Irish music scene a few years ago, Rodrigo y Gabriela have become a worldwide phenomenon; recently picking up a nomination for the “Most Original Artist”, AKA an MTV Leftfield ‘Woodie’ award at the upcoming 2007 MTV Woodies (nominated alongside Klaxons, CSS and the Knife). The award highlights the best of the genre-busters – artists that come out of left field…
