Cut Off Your Hands cancel liveshows
Thu 6th Dec, 2007 in Local News
New Zealand tearaways Cut Off Your Hands have regrettably pulled out of their live shows this weekend, after frontman Nick Johnston sustained a very rock star injury.
On the final night of the band’s UK tour, the singer decided to jump from a 15-foot high balcony that he climbed during the show. Not surprisingly, he shattered his ankle and is now en route to Auckland in a cast.
However, the party will still go on at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, with Mercy Arms stepping up to the headline slot alongside The Atrocities and a mystery band. Cut Off Your Hands bassist Phil Hadfield is travelling to Sydney for a DJ set.
Cut Off Your Hands and Mercy Arms are trying to reschedule the double bill in the New Year.
