After only three years, two EPs and one long-player, the boys from Bit By Bats are calling it a day.
Since their inception Bit By Bats have proved a firm fave with local audiences; they’ve toured Australia with the likes of Youth Group, Cut Copy, Howling Bells, and The Grates. The band has also enjoyed numerous international support slots, having shared stages with Wire, Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs, Peaches, Von Bondies, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Nicola Sarcevic and Les Savy Fav.
In 2006 the band made the leap to the festival circuit with a slot on the Big Day Out lineup and 2007 saw them playing to the crowds at Essential Festival and wowing overseas punters at Canadian Music Week
The band claim to still be on good terms although the members will be pursuing different musical avenues.
We can only wonder what the future holds…
