Velvet Revolver postpone tour

Velvet Revolver have had to postpone their tour of Australia that was set to commence in December. From the bands website:

“Velvet Revolver regrettably announces that their Australian Tour which was due to kick off in Brisbane next Tuesday, has been postponed until early next year. The band is disappointed that they have to wait even longer to get to Australia, as they were extremely excited to play for their Australian fans. New Australian dates, expected to be between January and March of next year, will be announced on Monday.

This postponement also applies to the exclusive event for Harley-Davidson Australia that was scheduled for next Friday in Sydney, which was to be used as a showcase for the new 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycles. All tickets for the December shows will remain valid for the re-scheduled shows in 2008.”

While no reason has been given for the postponement it is believed that Visa issues for the Japanese leg of the tour are responsible for the delay and not any health issues surrounding the band.

I'm pretty sure Weiland's got on the junk again and f**ked himself up. What a shame it has such adverse affects on the rest of the band.

I'm pretty sure he's not.. Last I heard he was a budding Buddhist (or something) and is "totally focussed". But then again, who really knows except him?

Anthony Kiedis was back on the gear after 10 years of being off it. It could be a lapse.

Someone told me they heard it was Slash last night. I don't think he is though.
