With only a few days to go before the inaugural Foreshore Summer Festival kicks off there’s not much time to plan your day. Situated on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin overlooking Anzac Parade and the War Memorial on one side and Parliament House on the other its shaping up as one of Canberra’s most spectacular music festivals. Tickets for the day have now sold out and would be fence jumpers should be warned that they will be handed over to the Police immediately.
There is plenty of free parking available adjacent to Questacon and public transport will be available both to and from the venue, with ACTION’s Nightrider service picking up punters from Commonwealth Avenue and delivering them into the city.
