For the past few years singer/songwriter Paul Kelly has been performing a set of shows known as ‘A to Z’. In the course of 4 nights he sings over 100 of his songs in alphabetical order, making this one of the most unique concert going experiences around.
Over the course of the last year Kelly has recorded each of these shows to select the best version of each song. Beginning on January 3, 2008, one of these songs will be released each month and made available for free download on his website (www.paulkelly.com.au). The catch is that as each new song becomes available, the previous one will be taken down. These releases will go on for two years in alphabetical order (January- ‘A’ songs, February- ‘B’ songs, March- ‘C’ songs, etc.) until all 100 have been made available online for free. If one letter a month is not enough for, Kelly will also be performing his ‘A to Z’ sets in Melbourne only this year. There are only a handful of tickets still available, so get yours soon so you don’t miss out!
