Southwest reggae band Sneaky Weasel Gang will represent the best of the region’s local music scene when they open the main stage at Rollercoaster next month.
The roots and reggae-inspired trio took out first prize in the Peel Music Foundation’s battle of the bands competition while making a name for themselves through Triple J’s Unearthed – and they’ll play to their biggest crowd to date when they play Mandurah’s Western Foreshore on December 29.
They’ll join an all-star lineup that also features Hilltop Hoods, The Black Keys, Shihad, Jebediah, Kisschasy, Birds of Tokyo and Ash Grunwald.
The brand new Perth to Manurah railway will be complete by then, making it nice and easy to make it down south for the last Saturday of 2007. Tickets are available for $70+bf through Heatseeker, Live clothing stores, Star Surf, Mill’s Records, Planet Video, Beat Music, Prince of Wales Hotel, The Dunsborough Tavern, and Blue 62.
