The Red Paintings – The Grinch Who Stole Christmas show promises to be an unforgettable experience, with sets and storylines based on the Dr Suess book – The Lorax, with a modern day twist.
This very special event will be held on December 22 at the Tivoli with an all ages show and an 18+ show, so that everyone can enjoy this fantastic Christmas experience. The Red Paintings shows are renowned for being different, and the Grinch Who Stole Christmas will be no exception.
The story involves characters from the Dr Seuss books, with interactive audience participation, a philharmonic orchestra and a choir. The planning and set designs have already taken on an extravagant surreal quality, with workshops happening weekends in the lead up to the event. Anyone can be involved in the set making workshops, with details available online at www.theredpaintings.com
The tickets will make ideal Christmas presents, and will be a great alternative night out, so be sure to get your tickets right away. 10% of all ticket sales will be donated to the Working Wonders Christmas Appeal, giving joy to sick children at the Royal Children’s Hospital on Christmas day.
The Red Paintings new single We Belong in the Sea has also been released, as a last glimpse into their twisted minds before they plunge headlong into their forthcoming full length debut, The Revolution Is Never Coming.
