Channel V launches a shiny new music show with a very sprightly host… Kicking off on Nov 27 at 10pm the show, The V independent Countdown will feature interviews and clips from all your fave indie acts… ‘Ho hum’ you say – well wait there’s a catch… the host of the show Vera is a switched-on, charming, senior citizen… Vera will deliver the latest news and reviews as well as the latest goss from local and indie acts.

“Switch on the ol’ box pets, pour yourself a cup of V and join me for the latest and greatest in rising stars in Australian music” says Vera.

To kick off the inuagural show, Vera will be chatting with Pnau, Cog, Bluejuice, Mercy Arms and Ghostwood
