The Peats Ridge festival, the first major festival in Australia to run completely on renewable energy, is back and better than ever this year. This year’s festival is expected to attract more than 10,000 people to the picturesque Glenworth Valley from December 29 to January 1. A final artist line-up has just been released and features artists from all over the world. Newly announced artists include Comatone, Kobra Kai, Jeff Duff, Liz Martin, Declan Kelly & The Rising Sun, Watussi, Emma Donovan and Meem. New world artists such as, Gervais Koffi and the African Diaspora, TETE, and Chris Kayana Gudu have been added as well as Indigenous artists Cindy Drummond and Radical Son. The festival is also introducing a – œJazz on the River’ stage where Elana Stone, Arrow, Darryl Beaton Band Feat. Martinez, The Green Septet, Zac Hurren Trio and the Matt Keegan Trio will be performing. Over 400 bands will be playing world music, blues, jazz, hip-hop, roots and dub, contemporary and chilled beats, on over 15 different stages throughout the New Year’s weekend.
