Wilco Australian tour datesannounced for 2008

Following on from the success of their visit just six months ago, Wilco will be returning to Australian shores at Easter to play a series of East Coast gigs and to deliver an appearance at the 2008 East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay.

Wilco live, as those who saw the band playing back in April can attest, are quite simply spell binding. Frontman Jeff Tweedy’s lyrical wizardry and sublime vocals combined with the guitar magic of Nels Cline, the beat of Glenn Kotche, all mixed together by John Stirratt’s smooth
bass and the multi instrumentation of Pat Sansone and Mickael Jorgensen, deliver a concert experience that runs the gamut from extraordinarily lavish to complete simplicity.
