Bamboo Banger Wants You toSave the Orangutans!

I don’t want to imagine a world without orangutans and I am pretty sure you don’t want to either. There are only 20,000 left today and experts predict that they could become extinct in the wild in less than 10 years. If you don’t have the luxury or the funds to leave Australia behind to start a wildlife refugee of your own in Borneo, don’t fear you can still make a difference.

The Bamboo Banger is happening on December 5 at the Oxford Art Factory to help save the orangutan’s homes. Each ticket bought will save 3 square meters of the Borneo Rainforest and will help the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (B.O.S.) stop illegal logging. There will be free drinks upon arrival, heaps of giveaways, and a jungle jam photo booth. To keep the night rockin’ the Soft Tigers, Lions At Your Door, Grafton Primary, Apsci, and Catcall are all tapped to perform with Djs Ajax, Jaime Doom, Bumblebeez, Kato, Anna Lunoe, Ro Sham Bo, Captain Franco, Knife Machine, Hoops, S.Y.L.K., Hey Now Djs and Gay Bash Djs spinning the decks. So come have some fun and sleep a little easier knowing the orangutan’s are safe for another day.
