Sydney’s Bridezilla will join the mighty Architecture In Helsinki on their upcoming national tour.
Undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts in the country right now, Bridezilla have been mesmerising Sydney audiences over the past year with a sound that is all their own and a maturity that belies their age, and now for the first time they are set to take their live sounds around the country on release of their debut EP.
It has been, and continues to be a rapid rise for the band. Their breathtaking show, as well as radio support from Fbi for one of their demos, has led Bridezilla to support slots with the likes of Midlake, Mercy Arms and Youth Group. They have also just been announced as one of three finalists in the SOYA award, an award for musical excellence in young people, judged by producer Nick Launay ( Nick Cave, Arcade Fire ).
On November 24 Bridezilla release their debut EP featuring lead track – œBrown Paper Bag’. Catch them in Sydney for the official launch on November 28, and from there they kick off their tour with AIH, followed by Homebake and Laneway in 2008.
