As governments continue inquisitions and witch-hunts on unions and civil rights groups around the country, and the world, the time has come to ask yourself and those around you: “At what point do we stand up and say no more?”

With a reputation built on a no crap, high octane and rocket fuelled live experience, Mammal have developed into an unmoveable staple of the Australian live scene, having shared and shaped stages with all those who matter in the emerging prog rock scene.

After dropping the raw, funky and inspiring live debut album, vol 1: the aural underground, Mammal have now faced their next challenge and delivered in spades, entering the studio with Forrester Savell ( Karnivool, Full Scale, Helmet ) to unleash their new double A-side single, Slaves and ‘Nagasaki In Flames’. It’s a release which showcases the fearless songwriting, forward-thinking politics and powerful vision of the band.

Never a band to sit around in boxes discussing what’s to be done next, Mammal have booked a run of shows in support of the single, Slaves. The band’s livewire frontman Ezekiel Ox said: “Working with Forrester was great, but we want to get back to doing what we enjoy most; playing live, converting new fans and giving back to those we already have.”

With a tour schedule ranging from the biggest festivals to the smallest clubs, now is the time to get aboard a rock ‘n’ roll juggernaut that shows no signs of slowing down. To avoid disappointment, early bookings are essential for these final dates as recent headline shows have been selling-out.

Mammal continue their national jaunt during November / December. The single ‘Slaves’ will be released as a limited edition three-track disc, available at live shows only for just $5. The three-track single will also be available digitally through iTunes from December. Mammal’s full-length live album vol 1: the aural underground is in stores now through MGM.
