The 2007 Resist Records Tour

The 2007 Resist Records Tour will again be touring throughout
December with eleven shows from the west to east coast showcasing
some of the leading bands from the labels roster. This years line
ups will include Melbourne’s Carpathian, Sydney’s Irrelevant and
Byron Bay’s 50 Lions appearing on the majority of dates with lineups
varying in each state.

Fresh off the Taste of Chaos festival, Carpathian will finish what
has been their busiest year yet headlining the tour. With tours of
the UK and Europe and appearances at Come Together, Hardcore 2007 and Sike Your Mind festivals, 2008 shows no signs of them slowing down, being the only Australian band announced on the Soundwave festival in February and March. Carpathian have just completed recording two brand new tracks for a new 7” EP Wrecked, to be released this December. Limited to 500 copies Wrecked will precede the bands new album, which will be released in 2008.

Sydney’s Irrelevant are no strangers to the Resist Records Tours, having been part of the initial tour line up in 2004. With the release of their debut EP The Need for Divinity in 1999, the band have since released an additional EP ( 2001’s Reflecting And Refracting ) and in 2005 their debut album Ascension, making Irrelevant the most established band on the label.

Rounding up the lineup is Byron Bay young guns 50 Lions who made
their Resist Records debut this July with Time is the Enemy. An appearance at Hardcore 2007, a national tour with US band Down To Nothing and a recent tour of New Zealand, 50 Lions are quickly becoming one of the most talked about young bands in the Australian hardcore scene.
