The Frontier Touring Company and MySpace have announced the launch of The Veronicas’ Hook Me Up With A Tour Support competition.

The competition – taking place through MySpace – will see a band in each tour city (Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Brisbane and the Gold Coast) be given the opportunity to open for The Veronicas on their forthcoming Hook Me Up tour.

Frontier Touring, MySpace and The Veronicas are all active supporters of local music, and this opportunity will allow our home-grown talent to showcase what they do best before their home-town crowds.

“We’re extremely proud to give musicians on MySpace, the exclusive opportunity to become the support act for one of the most avidly supported bands in Australia – The Veronicas. Eight artists will get the chance to perform their music and their art, in front of thousands of people in some of the most iconic venues in Australia. It’s the stuff of dreams of many upcoming bands, after all where else would you be given the ability to share the stage one of the hottest pop / rock outfits in Australia?” – Alex Wain, MySpace.

Three finalists for each tour city will be selected by a panel of judges and announced via MySpace on November 19. The Veronicas will then choose a winner for each city, and the girls will announce the winners on November 23 via MySpace.
