Ween: pushin' daisies inAustralia

Australia has been waiting ten long years for the return of Ween, Pennsylvania-via-New Jersey’s finest export.

Since that time, Ween have released four gloriously deranged studio albums ( including the most recent La Cucuracha ), between them, featuring such stone® cold classics as Flutes of Chi, Hey There Fancypants, Gabrielle, Friends & Spirit Walker. Then there is the back catalogue, another six studio albums of eccentric genius including such anthems as Mutilated Lips, Waving My Dick in the Wind, Voodoo Lady, P—s Up a Rope and Push the Little Daisies.

But now the wait is over and Feel are proud to bring you Ween live in Australia this coming February and March.

It’s likely we’ll experience many anthemic gems in one sitting and no one is going to be left disappointed after 2.5 hours plus of existential fun. Even more exciting news, in addition to performing live in all five major Australian cities, Ween will also take out the headline slot on the first night of the second ever Golden Plains Festival in Meredith Victoria.

Saturday March 1 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney

Tuesday March 4 – Club Capitol, Perth

Thursday March 6 – The Forum, Melbourne

Is this the Ween of Push The Little Daisies fame? I can't really pass judgement as that's the only song of theirs I've ever heard. Do all their songs sound like they're taking the piss out of, well, music in general?

Mutilated Lips is still one of the most beautiful songs ever written in my opinion.

Anyone know how much tickets are gonna be? I am already forking out big time this week on explosions in the sky and about a hundred sydney festival shows.

Ok so around the 60 dollar mark but for some reason the gig info is missing from the ticketek site at the moment. They have the Tivoli and Forum shows but no Enmore???

Mutilated Lips is a beautiful song, as well as Ocean Man, wich was on the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie credits.

AS for prices, I think it's around $60/70

Choclate and Cheese is so freakin good, so many genres covered so well and its a bit easier to get into than the other albums that I've got. God Ween Satan is pretty decent too.
