After suffering a break up earlier this year (in this case with The Morning After Girls) Aimee Nash and Scott Von Ryper have had one hell of a rebound.

Since forming The Black Ryder they have gained a solid fan base by releasing tracks online and appearing on various compilation albums. Although as of yet there is no confirmed date for an audio release of their own, fans will be getting a chance to hear more of them in the near future.

This December, in fact, as they have just signed on to be the supporting band for *Black Rebel Motorcycle Club*’s upcoming Australian tour. They will also be joined on stage by guitarist Ricky Maymi (Brian Jonestown Massacre), whom they often call upon to appear on their recordings. I think it is safe to say what Nash and Von Ryper have going for them is more than just a fling.

Jan 2 08 @ The Metro – Sydney
