Metalstock 2008 hits Sydney

2008 sees the fourth instalment of the rapidly growing Australian metal festival – Metalstock.

For the first time ever and for reasons beyond the control of the organisers, Metalstock 2008 will be coming to Sydney over the Easter weekend, Saturday March 22 and Sunday March 23 at The Manning Bar. This is a great chance for those who have not seen and experienced the Metalstock atmosphere, to come and embrace its dedication to the metal cause.

Although being an indoors festival in 2008, over the course of the two days, Metalstock will feature 14 of the mightiest Australian metal acts going around, plus three brutal offerings from New Zealand and an international headliner yet to conquer our country. As always Metalstock will be an all-ages event and ticket prices will be kept to a minimum to ensure value for money, leaving all brave hearted metallers more bucks for the merchandise, specials, drinks and food on offer.

With this news of Metalstock 2008, the first group of secured acts have now been announced:

KATAKLYSM (Canada), Dawn Of Azazel (New Zealand), Psycroptic (Tas), Pathogen (WA), Daysend (NSW), Captain Cleanoff (VIC, NSW), The Furor (WA) and Terrorust (VIC).

Ticketing information and further details are yet to be announced.
