Groovin' the Elefant Traks

Elefant Traks have announced a mini-festival event in Melbourne on Friday November 23 at The Corner Hotel featuring Unkle Ho, Urthboy, Hermitude ( launching their new EP The Rare Sightings ), Astronomy Class and The Tongue live, plus Melbourne Elefant Traks’ artists Mista Savona and Monkey Marc spinning records.

The event is coming together as a sideshow to the 2007 Groovin The Moo Festival in Albury, where Elefant Traks are curating the – œdance tent’ for the whole day on Saturday November 24.

Tickets will go quickly – on October 20, Urthboy, Hermitude and The Tongue sold out the East Brunswick Club three days out from the show, and this time the bill is much bigger, with the reggae increased by Astronomy Class and Mista Savona as well as the Balkan beats and gypsy sounds thanks to a very rare solo appearance by Unkle Ho ( who has not toured to Melbourne since 2005, and will be launching his recent second album Circus Maximus ).

Tickets are on sale now for $25 at the Corner Box Office (57 Swan St Richmond 12pm to 8pm Monday to Saturday), phone bookings on 9427 9198, online bookings at the Corner Hotel website.
