Custard: a digital history

Brisbane rockers Custard emerged in 1990 and their 10-year career saw them become one of Australia’s most loved ‘art rock’ bands with a near cult status.

Frontman David McCormack has gone on to create and play in a number of different musical ensembles since Custard waved goodbye after a decade of service at the turn of the new millennium. Yet it was the el Custaro phenomenon that started out his musical journey, and one that will always hold a shiny spot smack-bang in the middle of the Australian Music landscape.

The Spaces at the Side of the Road: A Digital History of Custard DVD has been uncovered from the vaults and is available to the masses now. It contains 18 classic Custard tunes and clips, plus a bunch of special features (including live performances, audio commentary and naturally, much much more).
