Established in the UK in 2005 as an offshoot of the All Tomorrows Parties Festival, Don’t Look Back, is an amazingly unique festival that brings together influential artists to perform live their most significant albums in entirety.
This summer DLB is coming to our shores and with the announcement that both local and international bands will be coming down under for this amazing event, the rumours are already flying.
The first announcement advised that the bands will be performing from mid to late January 2008 in theatres and at festivals, making the chances of some Big Day Out artist crossover highly likely.
Since its inception, artists who have partaken in the event have included, The Stooges ( Funhouse), Sonic Youth (Daydream Nation) and even The Dirty Three (Ocean Songs). With such an impressive history, rumours have already started on forums around the country that the likes of David Bowie may be heading our way!
Stay tuned to FL for more info.
