Good Charlotte: the show mustgo on
Wed 10th Oct, 2007 in Local News
Good Charlotte kicked off their Australian tour in Brissie last night – amongst all the on stage shenanigans bassist Paul Thomas suffered a bad ankle and foot injury. Ever the trooper, he stayed on stage ‘til the end of the show however whether he would be able to continue playing on the rest of the tour was uncertain.
Well today doctors confirmed that Thomas is able to continue on the tour – the only catch he must remain seated at the rest of the gigs.
According to a press release released by Good Charlotte today, it is the band’s love for Australia and all their Aussie fans that have ensured Paul will stick around for the remaining gigs rather than flying home.
“Good Charlotte’s love for Australia and all their fans here is well documented, and this is the reason that Paul has insisted on completing the tour. The band would like to assure everyone that is coming along that this injury will not compromise the show in any way and fans should be ready to rock out on the best Good Charlotte tour to ever hit Australia!
