Another venue cans live music

Gigs at The Dunsborough aka 3 Bears Bar have been cancelled following noise complaints from residents.

Earlier this week the Busselton Shire Council urged the venue to cease all live amplified music, threatening a review of their license if it continues.

Upcoming visits from The Cops and Expatriate, Regurgitator and Birds of Tokyo have been cancelled, though the venue stands committed to reaching a compromise in order to continue hosting live music.

This comes just months after owners of the Hyde Park Hotel announced they would not continue live amplified music, citing ‘noise complaints’ as their main reason. After a fervent campaign spearheaded by WAM, the venue reversed its decision.
