The Devil’s Kitchen Music Festival is an annual event that showcases the cremé de la cremé of Australian stoner, fuzz, psychedelic, blues, doom, sludge and punk rock.

2007 saw the festival become a national event, highlighting the local scene in four states. The “alternative to the alternative mainstream” will thus conquer stages across the country through January 2008 to showcase the scene that support us, the punters!

January 5 – Adelaide, SA
January 12 – Cherry Bar (Melbourne, VIC)
January 13 – Wollongong, NSW
January 18 – Canberra, ACT
January 19 – Sydney, NSW
January 25 – The Loft (Warrnambool, VIC)
January 26 – The Nash (Geelong, VIC)
January 26 – Port Macquarie, NSW
January 26 – Hyde Park Hotel (Perth, WA)
January 27 – The Nash (Geelong, VIC)

The lineup for the Melbourne leg of the festival has already been announced – My Disco, Youngbreeder (ex – Dern Rutlidge ), My Left Boot, The Devil Rides Out, Ahkmed, Wnterun, Ancient Man, Hotel Wrecking City Traders, Sons of the Sun, Bring On the Junta and Disgracelands. Tickets are $26.50 and available through Greentix or on the door if available.
