Some of the best names in dance and electronic music will kickstart your 2008 when the Summadayze festival hits Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Perth.

David Guetta feat Chris Willis, New Young Pony Club, Felix Da Housecat and Faithless maestro Sister Bliss head up the festival’s touring contingent, playing at all three dates, starting in Melbourne on New Year’s Day.

As part of an Australian tour that includes appearances at the Falls Festival and Southbound, Groove Armada will headline the Melbourne event, before jetting off to continue the tour elsewhere.

The tour continues and rolls into Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast on January 5, with Spank Rock making a one-off appearance for the Queenslanders. The tour continues the next day, as Perth’s Esplanade and Supreme Court Gardens merge for the first time to host DJ sets from Midnight Juggernauts and KIM Presets and a live performance from Infusion.
