With a new album about to be released, iconic Sydney rock band 78 Saab are busting at the seams to headline the second FasterLouder Live gig in Sydney on Friday October 19. The last FasterLouder Live event in August saw 700+ eager rock fans lining the pavement outside The Gaelic Theatre for what was a huge night of loose rock n roll behaviour and we expect no less this time.

Without further ado the line-up for Fasterlouder Live 2:
78 Saab
They’ve been called the laziest band in rock, but we’d rather think of them as thoughtful… It’s been nearly four years since 78 Saab released their cult hit Crossed Lines and the Saab have finally returned to the music scene with a corker of an album, The Bells Line, which has drawn comparisons to legendry rock acts like The Church and The Triffids. The new album drops in stores at the end of September and FasterLouder Live will provide the perfect opportunity to catch these laid back rockers delivering their smashing new CD.

The City Lights
We’ve all heard of rock super groups, well meet Sydney’s latest… The City Lights. The brains behind the outfit are the Roden Brothers (James and Harry) who’ve enlisted the help of some of their best buds – Danny Allen (Youth Group) Bruno Brayovic (Peabody), Kit Warhurst (Rocket Science) and Graeme Trewin (ex-Peabody) to serve up a unique rock collective of music nuts and exceptional players. The City Lights will be showing off new tracks from their spanking new CD El Sol.

Paper Scissors
Since releasing their self titled EP last year, Sydney outfit The Paper Scissors have had quite a time of it – chuffing off around the country to support the likes of Midnight Juggies, The Bees, and Dappled Cities Fly and playing festival gigs at Great Escape and Playground Weekender. All the while refining their sound and putting together tracks for their debut CD. You can catch all the excitement of Less Talk More Paper Scissors when the foursome land at FasterLouder Live.

The Ringleaders
Southern Highlands kids, The Ringleaders will be bringing their tasty tunes to the FL Live arena when they open the evening with their hooky jangly 60s inspired pop rock. These kids are sure to get you dancing.
