We all suspected it, but now the rumour-mongering can cease with the news today from the crew at Lees & West that Rage Against the Machine will indeed be playing Big Day Out this January.
Tickets to the band’s sideshows at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and Melbourne’s Festival Hall sold out in record time this morning. Further sideshows are expected to be announced.
In light of this unprecedented sell out, Lees and West would like to announce that RATM will also appear at the BDO 2008 summer series kicking off in Auckland on January 18 followed by shows on the Gold Coast, in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
