Behemoth prepare Oz assault
Tue 25th Sep, 2007 in Local News
Polish trio Behemoth will bring their brutal brand of death metal to our shores this summer as they head back to Australia for a national tour.
Since the band’s last visit just over a year ago, they’ve released The Apostasy, their ninth studio album, as well as raising hell at Ozzfest dates around the US.
Since debuting in 1995 with their Sventevith album, Behemoth have forged a reputation as one of the most prominent names in extreme metal, and have shared the stage with the likes of Danzig, Soulfly, Nile and Opeth.
They’ll open their account at the Amplifier Bar in Perth, before moving through Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in consecutive nights.
